Kalvin M. Madsen is a Pasadena-based writer, journalist, and publisher. He holds a B.A. in English from UC Santa Barbara and his work primarily explores the ethical boundaries of technology through speculative and dystopian fiction. He was the second-place winner of the 2025 Line of Advance Military Fiction contest and received an honorable mention in the 2026 National Fantasy Fan Federation short story contest. He is currently working on his debut novel and a poetry collection titled American Families.
